Engineering Services

ComDesignsTech designed a sealed, explosion-resistant housing for a FLIR camera. This system was designed for deployment in a nuclear reactor core where there was a potential for explosive hydrogen gas.

ComDesignsTech provides rapid prototyping, tactical wireless network engineering, and other engineering support services to help clients take advantage of our expertise in technical imaging, NDA and NDE, process monitoring support, and safety monitoring.

We provided engineering services to support sodium treatment operations at the Idaho National Laboratory's EBR-II reactor facility. Our services allowed the project to safely and remotely monitor operations. The work required the installation of video camera systems, thermographic cameras, and a tactical wireless network, including placing thermographic camera systems in the primary tank, a high-radiation environment adjacent to the defueled reactor core.
